Two bills from the Business of Childcare Study Committee have hearings on Tuesday 1/27

Thanks for your interest in upcoming legislation - House Bills 1710 and 1712 are both scheduled for hearings on Tuesday morning.

HB1710 builds on the study committee's findings regarding the process for publishing results of child day care monitoring visits, allowing a rebuttal response by the business, and removing online reviews after three years.

HB1712 addresses keeping a child care facility open during the appeal process, by changing the presumption to innocent until proven guilty.

If you are able to attend in person, the hearings take place at the Legislative Office Building, room 206 at 10:30 and 11:00am on 1/28. You can sign up to testify by filling out a pink card, or sign in to support the bills but not speak by filling out the blue sheets.

If you are not able to attend, the email address to send comments to the entire Children and Family Law committee is and your stories and comments really do make a difference!

Thank you for your advocacy on behalf of childcare businesses, kids, and parents in New Hampshire!
