Douglas Lake in DNR news
Many of the Michigan licensed fishermen and women received the January 2017 "Reel in Michigan Fisheries". For those of you who did not, an article of interest was published called "Figuring out how to fish Douglas Lake in Cheboygan County". See the entire January edition here.

The 2017 Free Fishing Weekends are scheduled for this winter:
February 18 & 19 and this summer: June 10 & 11.

The 2nd annual dues letter will be in the mail February 15. Your directory information will be included. Be sure to verify your information and send updates along with your dues in the enclosed DLIA-addressed envelope. A new directory is coming summer 2017.

as needed (once a month) off-season.
The DLIA Newsletter is published twice a year - Fall and Spring.
Deadline for news and obituaries is 4/15/2017 for our Spring Newsletter.
We appreciate the obituaries being brief (300 words or less)
and relevant to Douglas Lake. News articles should not exceed 700
words unless approved by the editor. Please be aware
that any article or obituary may be edited to fit into the layout.
