Last Call:  On line DLIA Merchandise Sale ends Midnight Tonight
         The merchandise shelves are pretty bare but you can check it out and order on line by ten p.m.EST tonight. The online link is below.
          If you are interested in 2022 DLIA Calendars, Kelly Davis will accept late orders (for a few days only) by email directly to her at kelly.davis861@gmail.com.

Ice Breaker 2022 Winter Speaker Series Begins January 12, 2022
         
       The Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council's Ice Breaker Winter Speaker Series begins January 12, 2022.  Below is a list of the first few talks – a more detailed description of all scheduled talks will follow in the next eNews.
          All talks are on Wednesday, between Noon-1:00 p.m. on the date listed.  These free sessions are hosted on line. Or watch them online after the event at www.bit.ly/WatershedCouncilVid.
So, mark your calendar for:
January 12, 2022 – Northern Michigan Algal Outbreaks
February 2, 2022 - Loons and Avian Botulism
February 16, 2022 – Line 5 Great Lakes Tunnel update
February 23, 2022 – Manoomin – The Food That Grows on the Water

The deadline for May 2022 DLIA Newsletter has not been announced yet. 
Note: We appreciate the obituaries being brief (300 words or less)
and relevant to Douglas Lake. News articles should not exceed 700
words unless approved by the editor. Please be aware
that any article or obituary may be edited to fit into the layout.
