The DL Boat ramp remains in adequate condition, but lower water level and “power loading” have resulted in conditions that require more attention when launching and recovering your boat. Due to power loading there is a sandbar-like shallow area about 15 - 20 feet off the end of the dock in the approach path to the ramp and the underwater area at the mid point of ramp is tilted due to uneven deposit of sand. The location of both these areas does not allow a remedy by “hand” shoveling. Again, the ramp remains serviceable, but more caution should be used when launching or recovering your boat..
