          The Annual Watershed Council’s “Whale of a Sale” is back in-person this summer. Donations are limited this year to boats, kayaks or canoes. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council.

          Watching a July 4^th parade is a great American tradition.  We certainly missed attending parades last summer.  Both Cheboygan and Harbor Springs are having parades. You can do both.  Cheboygan’s parade is Saturday July 3^rd while Harbor Springs’ parade is Sunday July 4^th.  Break out the red, white and blue wardrobe and head for a parade. Links below give details on each parade.
          In Cheboygan, the parade is on July 3^rd along Main Street from the Cheboygan County Building north to the FOE parking lot.
          In Harbor Springs, July 4^th offers a full day of events. The annual Fourth of July Community Art Show will take place in Zorn Park from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; the Fourth of July parade will take place at 1 p.m., and fireworks will begin at dusk.
