Douglas Lake Merchandise Sale – Saturday July 24th 10 a.m.-Noon
Stop on Saturday to pick up your new 2022 Douglas Lake calendar featuring contributions from DLIA members and families and - new this year - a pet page showing off some favorite Douglas Lake companions. [Reminder:  send your pictures of Douglas Lake family fun times, views of the lake, and 'loving living on Douglas Lake' to pictures@douglaslake.org for DLIA Calendar2023]
“Loon-atic” Tee shirts are going fast. Sweatshirts have arrived!
Merchandise sales are held at DLIA's Pellston Locker just off Douglas Lake Road in back of the Pellston Lodge. FYI: the next merchandise sale after July 24th is Saturday, August 14th 10 a.m.-Noon.
Petoskey Sidewalk Sales – July 30-31, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Looking for bargains?  The 56th Annual Sidewalk Sales are a great opportunity for Petoskey’s downtown merchants to move their stores into the streets, and present their wares in a traditional, old-fashioned sidewalk sales venue. Streets in downtown Petoskey are closed off to everything but foot traffic; sidewalk dining options are available at downtown restaurants.
The editor’s personal favorite for deals are those at American Spoon. But, be advised, the bargains go quickly.
