Tour Brave Hearts this Sunday, August 13, 7pm
Brave Hearts Estate is a 238 acre ranch that was donated to Operation Injured Soldiers by a patriot and generous supporter of our injured veterans.
Brave Hearts invites DLIA friends, family, and neighbors to cocktails and to tour the retreat this Sunday, August 13 at 7:00pm.

Pellston Food Pantry Fundraiser
Randy Bricker, Director of the Pellston Food Pantry, announces a fundraiser for a pole barn to be used for the Pellston Food Pantry which is part of the Manna Food Project operating in Antrim, Charlevoix and Emmet countries. The new building would be built on the pantry property next to the facility in Pellston (formerly Grace Community Church). It will store the transport vehicle used to pick up food supplies from Manna. It will also be a place to store maintenance equipment and donations that do not fit in the main building (due to size or quantity). The monetary goal is $30,518 with the hope of completing the project before winter.

Election of Treasurer. The DLIA Executive Board has approved the candidate, Susan Klaas, to run for a 2nd 2-year term. Members may present additional nominations at the meeting.
