Local Officials Attend Gas Line Safety Meeting
Munro Township Supervisor Charles Antkoviak and Township Clerk Linda Ginop attended a safety meeting held by Enbridge, SEMCO Energy and TransCanada for community officials and property owners where gas/petroleum pipelines are located.  The meeting took place Monday, March 23. Valuable information was provided such as how to recognize a problem and how to deal with it. While 8-1-1 is advertised as the "Call Before You Dig" phone number, it is also used if you suspect a leak or spill.
