Douglas Lake Merchandise Online Store Is Now Open for Business
DLIA is excited to offer a holiday online store this year for great Douglas Lake merchandise.  Please keep in mind, there will not be any re-orders of merchandise; so, if you see something you want, get it before it's gone!
The store is now open at http://douglaslakemerchandise.square.site/  but will close on December 15 at 10pm EST to allow time for shipping before Christmas.

If you experience any problems with the store or have any questions, please call or text me at 615-308-9086.
Enjoy Shopping!

Cheboygan County Internet Survey
Cheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) wants your help to determine how well served residents are with internet access. The revitalized Cheboygan EDC has identified technology as the leading priority for county-wide development with a strong focus on supporting energy and broadband initiatives….and THEY NEED YOUR HELP! The EDC has teamed up with Connected Nation, a company that develops and provide the tools, resources, and methods that help communities create and implement solutions to their broadband and digital technology gaps. The first step is to engage as many community members as possible in taking a survey to map the county’s current access. It is crucial to a sustainable and realistic plan that they have a clear picture of where county residents are, so they can determine where to go. The level of cooperation among Cheboygan County residents (and this survey is open to summer or vacation residents also) all will directly impact the outcome and level of success for this initiative.
Please help by filling out the survey at link below:

Munro Township Election Results
Counting ballots in Munro Township was not the challenge faced in major metropolitan cities in the US.  But still the stress of an election was felt in Munro Township. Leadership positions in the Township were offered up for resident voter consideration and changes resulted. Briefly, Keith Ginop was elected Munro Township Supervisor.  Don Tracey (incumbent) and Ty Antkoviak were elected as Trustees.
For a more detailed analysis of how the residents of Munro Township voted, see the report for Munro Township from the Clerk for Cheboygan County:
