          The annual bridge walk is just days away! The bridge will be closed to public traffic during the walk, from 6:30 a.m. to Noon.  No public vehicles are allowed on the bridge until the walk concludes and participants are off the bridge. The 2021 Walk will start from both St. Ignace and Mackinaw City,
          A video posted on the Mackinac Bridge Authority website explains the bridge walk schedule and the options for walkers whether they start from north or south ends of the bridge.  The 2020 Bridge Walk was cancelled due to COVID.  Between 25,000 and 30,000 people have participated in recent years.

          The 16^th Annual Lake Association Summit, hosted virtually by Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council, is Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 9:00 am - Noon. The “Into the Weeds” program focuses on plants – what is the connection between Fish and Flora, controlling aquatic invasive species, the cultural importance of wild rice, and several interesting break-out sessions.
