Watch your mailbox! The annual dues mailing including a financial report for the recently completed 2019 year should be arriving soon. Your cover letter shows what is due for the 2020 year (and any past years’ arrears).  A membership form is also included for you to update information about mailing address, telephone contact, email address, etc.
            As usual, you can pay your dues by check (we don’t recommend sending cash through the mail) or by using PayPal.  Given the current anxieties about spreading the COVID-19 virus we ask that you consider paying electronically through PayPal to reduce handling both by postal workers and the DLIA folks who pick up and process the mail. Go to www.douglaslake.org click on Membership/Pay Dues to access the PayPal mechanism. Thank you!

            Marilyn Keleman has again volunteered to prepare a 2021 Calendar from photos submitted by DLIA members and community. Marilyn asks that all photos for consideration be submitted by APRIL 15, 2020 to pictures@douglaslake.org
            The new calendar will be available for purchase at the DLIA Merchandise Sales beginning in June.

MUNRO TOWNSHIP CLEAN-UP DAY MAY 23, 2020

            The annual clean-up day sponsored by Munro Township is currently scheduled for Saturday May 23. However, these are uncertain times. We have not been able to confirm that May 23^rd is The Date for 2020. Once we have better information, an updated eNews will be sent out. In the meantime, plan for May 23^rd but don’t be surprised if that date is postponed/cancelled.

            If tradition holds, each household is expected to have its pick-up items at roadside by 7 AM on Saturday morning.  Be careful that your pick-up does not include hazardous material, tires, paint, other chemicals, etc.  We’ll provide a more detailed list when the date is confirmed.  Also, each household is limited to no more than one truck load of “pick-up.”
