 Walleye Stocking Update
The November Newsletter will include an article about the LTBBofOdawa Indians’ fish hatchery near Douglas Lake.  Kris Dey, the Hatchery Manager, hosted a small group of DLIA members for a tour.  In the last week, the tribe has been surveying and netting on Douglas Lake to follow-up on the walleye fingerlings release of last June.  Scott Davis, DLIA’s liaison with the tribe is following these activities. No further stocking is planned at this time. We will keep the membership apprised of the survey outcomes and tribal inland fishery programs, particularly those involving Douglas Lake and local streams and lakes.
Can you help identify people from 1993?
Since we missed our August deadline for printing our 50 Years of the Douglas Lake Improvement Association book, we are taking the time to identify people in photographs in our last chapter - anniversary events. People are identified in all the other chapters, but we ran out of time to individually identify people in the photographs of our anniversary events.
Can you help us?
Please review the following photos. If you know someone, please email info@douglaslake.org or call Holly Gedert at 231-537-3269.
Can you name people in this photograph?
