REX 4 Weather Architect nearing completion!

Weather Architect has finished the final testing phase and is currently in the pre-deployment phase. Because Weather Architect presently utilizes simconnect it can be used with FSX, P3D, and FSX Steam Edition. Weather Architect is not like other weather engines in that it loads ALL the weather a user creates at once so there is no repeated update needed throughout a users flight. When the Weather Force API is complete, we will integrates its technology into Weather Architect as a free upgrade to users.

REX 3 Essential Plus/Overdrive HotFix 2 In Development!

Well some BIG and exciting changes coming for REX 3 Essential/Overdrive. We have done some work on the weather engine and backend weather services.

First, we have fixed some major issues with the GRID Interpolation system. We found several stations not reporting and have now fixed that issue.

Secondly, we have been downloading the GFS rain, snow, and thunderstorm data. This NOW allows us to create via the fixed GRID Interpolations system a FULL worldwide coverage of weather.

GREAT NEWS for you hi-flyers who like to fly over the oceans. You will now experience real weather systems, fronts, and even hurricanes/typhoons over the ocean blue. Additional areas we are currently working on are enhancements and fixes to the WXPLUS Mode as well as better wind and visibility smoothing.

We hope to have this Service Pack 4 available in several weeks. Stay Tuned!!!
