CommonSites Teams up with NEARCH
CommonSites teams up with other European research and heritage institutions for the NEARCH project. This five year EU funded project looks to increase cooperation among stakeholders and develop new ways of engaging the public in archaeology and heritage in areas struck by economic crisis.
Introducing Heritage Values, a JPI EU Project
Early in 2014 CommonSites teamed up with institutions across Europe to develop the Heritage Values Network (H@V). H@V is opening a dialogue among heritage practitioners, researchers and policy makers across Europe. We are proud to be a part of this great initiative, funded within the EU Joint Programming Initiative.
New release: Akvo RSR Up
Akvo, CommonSites' strategic partner, recently released a new application. Called the Akvo RSR Up, this mobile app is designed and created to easily upload project updates from Android devices. The app is available for free at the Google Play store and will also be released at the F-Droid store at a later time.
On the move
The past six months have seen a massive shift in the location of some of our staff. Scientific Director Adam Jagich moved to Nigeria and Creative Director David de Bruijne headed west to Curacao. Both are happily ensconced in their respective homes and are hard at work making CommonSites global.

Lucky Number 13
Congratulations to the ‘Friends of Udhruh’ project as they were voted #13 on the Dutch top 15 crowd funded projects of 2013. We couldn’t be happier for them and were so proud to be a part of their success. We look forward to a great 2014!
