So please be sure to keep an eye out on our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news!
Join us Tuesday, 19 May at 16:00 CEST for a FREE webinar

As part of ETW’s activities, we are hosting a FREE live webinar next Tuesday, 19 May from 16:00-17:00 CEST.

With the current global COVID-19 pandemic, interest for HIV self-testing/sampling has been rapidly increasing due to service closures and/or restrictions to in-person testing. However, in some countries, there exists gaps in knowledge on HIV self-testing/sampling where they may not be widely known or easily available.

This webinar will present case examples from Lithuania (Asociacija Demetra) and Italy (Arcigay/Lila Milano) where pilot activities were undertaken through the INTEGRATE JA (led by partners at Public Health England) to close the knowledge gaps to understand the HIV self-testing situation in both countries. These pilots implemented activities to assess awareness, usability, acceptability, availability and knowledge of self-tests and the findings will be presented in the webinar.

EACS & ETW: Interview with EACS President & # IDAHOTB video

In support of the Spring ETW, Professor Jürgen Rockstroh, European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) President and EuroTEST Steering Committee co-chair, was recently interviewed by EACS where he discusses the benefits of earlier testing, treatment and care. He also highlights how ETW helps to raise awareness on the importance of services for HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections, which is even more crucial in times of emergency

Read the interview here.

Additionally, for the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (17 May), EACS, in partnership with Life4me+, have created a joint video campaign with clinicians and activists who discuss the stigma and discrimination towards people living with HIV.
