EuroTEST and the European Testing Week Working Group wish you a successful European Testing Week. We look forward to seeing all your activities across the WHO European Region and hope you will share how your organisation is supporting your communities with testing services during the global pandemic.
If you promote your Testing Week activities on social media, please remember to use the hashtags #EuroTestWeek, #TestTreatPrevent and to tag us in your social media posts using @EuroTestWeek on Twitter and @European Testing Week on Facebook.
This year, the theme for European Testing Week focuses on the importance of continued provision of testing services for HIV, viral hepatitis and STIs, despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to provide a platform for sharing of ideas and best practices, we have been organising a number of online activities focusing on this theme, including a series of free, live webinars and testimonial videos.

Free, online webinars
There is still time to register for our free live webinars during #EuroTestWeek!
The overall theme of the webinars is “Challenges and opportunities for testing during the COVID-19 pandemic throughout Europe.” The webinar series will highlight the different experiences of organisations throughout Europe who have adapted testing services to mitigate the impact of COVID-19.
Participants will be able to engage with presenters who have practical experiences with these topics and join in the discussion of strategies for ensuring continued testing during the pandemic.
These are the webinar topics, date and time, and registration details:
- Testing vulnerable populations in COVID-restricted contexts (organised by Terence Higgins Trust/HIV Prevention England in partnership with European Testing Week)
- Integrating testing for HIV and/or viral hepatitis and COVID-19
- HIV self-testing – opportunities and challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic
You can always check the webinar page on the ETW website for updates. If you are unable to attend the live webinars, they will be recorded and shared on the ETW website, Facebook page, Twitter and YouTube.
