Opening Day details

Yeah!!! Groomers are pushing out the piles!!

For everyone who saw the piles of snow it represented 60 hours of snowmaking that was made December 18,19 and 20. The last days it was cold enough to make snow.

The Operations crew is  pushing out the piles to get you some limited terrain to ski on.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate through this warm spell.

We all know (hope) that this can’t last much longer.

The forecast does not look good for snowmaking in the next 5 days. We see a window of 15 hours that will help next week, but we need some cold stretches to get us fully open.

There is GOOD news! We still have over 300 hours budgeted for snowmaking and when the temperatures allow we'll make snow until the cows come home.

This weekend we plan on having the  Lower and Upper Zoo open serviced by our new Magic Carpet and a handle tow.

We are excited to see many of our young skiers getting a taste of skiing and getting ready for a long season! We still will be able to get all programs in ……just a delay due to mother nature!
