The Council of State Governments Justice Center has administered the National Reentry Resource Center and the technical assistance it provides for more than 10 years.
Over the last decade, we have worked with more than 800 grantees across 49 states and additional territories to help with your critical efforts to support safe and successful reentry in your community. The work has been hard, successes have been many, and we’ve truly cherished our close interactions with each of you over the life of your grant and beyond.
In 2019 the Bureau of Justice Assistance competed the work of the National Reentry Resource Center and through that competition selected the American Institutes for Research to lead the Center’s technical assistance work going forward. We wish the National Reentry Resource Center and its new partners the very best. We are also committed to ensuring a seamless transition between your current technical assistance provider and those who will be assuming that responsibility, which will go into effect in the new year.
Until then, please contact your technical assistance coach if you have any questions, and we’ll be sure to be back in touch soon with additional transition plans and guidance.
Thank you for your continued commitment to this important work,
The Council of State Governments Justice Center
