Hosted by Advance CTE and The Council of State Governments Justice Center
Date: Friday, Nov. 22
Time: 2–3 p.m. ET
This webinar will examine how state leaders can leverage the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) to improve Career Technical Education (CTE) programs in their juvenile justice systems. The webinar will draw on findings and recommendations from CSG Justice Center’s On Track: How Well are States Preparing Youth in the Juvenile Justice System for Employment report, which examines the state of CTE and workforce development services for incarcerated youth in all 50 states, to identify areas of improvement and promising practices. Join this webinar to hear from Oklahoma on how the state has approached this important work.
