Looking back on Eire

Dear <<First Name>>

Thank you to everyone who made Gregynog Festival 2016 such a success.

Season highlights include:
- 70 artists from 13 different countries
- two world, one British and three Welsh premiere performances
- recommendations in The Times, Guardian, BBC Music Magazine, Gramophone and Early Music Today
- two half-hour previews on BBC Radio 3's In Tune
-
the Wales debuts of Ensemble Nevermind and The Irish Consort
-
four sell-out performances
- a full feature on S4C's Heno
- audience members joining us from New Zealand, the United States, France and Jersey, as well as many parts of Wales and the UK.

Wales Arts Review covered two days of the Festival and you can read their reviews here.

We're now working hard to finalise our next events. Join us at Gregynog on 18 and 19 November when Robin Huw Bowen and friends will be be throwing a 200th birthday party for the legendary Newtown triple harpist John Roberts, Telynor Cymru.

Do also make a note of next year's dates - 16 June to 2 July 2017 - when our season theme will allow us to explore Wales' contribution to international photography and dance as well as music.

With best wishes

Rhian Davies
