He competed in monthly print competitions for over 20 years. His images have won awards in local, national, and international competitions and have been published in various newspapers, magazines, books and annual reports.
Beginning in 1980 Bob has been an active member of a camera club, first in the Delaware Photographic Society (DPS), then the Louisiana Photographic Society and now the Camera Club of Hendersonville. He has held many positions, including president, program director and education director. In 2014 he was honored by the DPS with the designation of Lifetime Member for his many years of service.
He joined the CCoH in 2012 and is now in his tenth year serving as an officer, currently Vice President, as he continues his passion for helping others learn more about photography in payback to all those who helped him move up the learning curve.
