Happy 2016!  I'm sure you are all gearing up for new programs and new connections with your communities.  One of the principles of the North East Neighbourhood House Network is to work together to achieve valuable outcomes. I'd like to hear your ideas on what we can do together this year to strengthen the neighbourhood house sector.

NDIS and Neighbourhood Houses

Young Changemakers Program

Are your teachers doing great work?  Here is your chance to showcase and share what they are doing.  This project aims to find the best innovative teaching practices in Learn Locals from around Victoria.  Eight innovations will be filmed and shared on You Tube. Improving advocacy skills is one of the goals of the NENHN strategic plan.  SVA Quarterly have some great articles that are well worth reading. There are some good thoughts on how to go about advocacy here.
