RHN Families With Children- We hope you are getting out and about in the neighborhood and enjoying "San Francisco Summer" with your family! Please join us for a fun upcoming event:

Saturday Sept. 22, 2018 9:30 am - Noon: RHN Neighborhood Clean-Up / Street Sweep! We all share the responsibility for keeping our neighborhood clean, so families with children are especially encouraged to participate in this event. Every age is welcome! The sweep will begin and end at Helen Wills Playground (Broadway at Larkin) with its restroom facilities and a playground for those who tire out from working before the 11:30 finish.
Date: Saturday, September 22
Place: Helen Wills Playground (Broadway @ Larkin)
Start: 9:30 am meet-up. RHN will provide coffee and donuts for participants. DPW will be on hand to provide plastic gloves, brooms, and bags.
Street Sweep: 10-11:30 am street sweep and sidewalk cleanup (likely up and down Larkin and Hyde, exact route tbd)
Ice Cream Celebration in the Park for Participants!: 11:30 am - Noon.

Please let us know in advance if you will join this effort so that we can ask the Department of Public Works to bring enough brooms and other equipment...and to be sure we have enough ice cream for participants!!! Please bring kid size work gloves if you have/need them. Please RSVP at: neighborhoodimprovement@rhnsf.org

If you have ideas for other things you would like to see RHN do to support local families, or are interested in helping out at our events for families, please let us know at families@rhnsf.org. If you would like to get involved in RHN in a leadership role please contact us at rhn@rhnsf.org. In particular, we are looking for a new Chair for the Families With Children Committee.

The all-volunteer board of our non-profit organization works year-round to help make Russian Hill a better place to live. Funds we generate from Annual Membership directly support our events and initiatives such as those listed above!
