Welcome to GlobalPhillyTM 2019!
We are excited to kick-off the fourth iteration of this one-of-a-kind global expo, which is designed to show the international activity of our residents and the global reach of Philadelphia and the region.

From September 1 - October 15, we will be showcasing programs, workshops, tours, specialty events, and more on behalf of the members of Global Philadelphia Association to highlight the contribution that their organizations make to our city’s global fabric.

Keep an eye out for our weekly GlobalPhilly Gazette newsletter to learn about the latest upcoming events happening during the Expo. With more than 100 events presented by the members of the Global Philadelphia Association, there is something to suit all!

Below you will find some highlights of what is to come in the next two weeks during the Expo. You can also check out our GlobalPhilly Passport online to view all Expo events.*
We hope you enjoy these opportunities, which have been carefully curated for you by Global Philadelphia Association and our members.

Philadelphia's Medical Heritage
Did you know... Philadelphia has a tremendous history of medical firsts and activities in the healthcare fields. From first operations to medical discoveries, our city has seen many new discoveries leading to the betterment of health and mankind. Additionally, one in every six doctors in the U.S. are trained in Philadelphia.

This year’s GlobalPhilly Expo will include a spotlight on Philadelphia’s Medical Heritage. Please enjoy and share these boasting rights uniquely attributable to our city!

Be sure to visit the exhibit, “Philadelphia, A medical HUB since the 1700s,” at Terminal A-East at the Philadelphia International Airport. The expo is hosted by the Philadelphia International Airport in partnership with Philadelphia International Medicine, both board members of Global Philadelphia Association.
