Lunch with Lene Tranberg 16 March 2016
As you will all know, The Friends of Futuna Charitable Trust have brought Lene Tranberg to New Zealand from Copenhagen, Denmark. Lene is one of the Partners of Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter A/S and she will give three lectures while in New Zealand;
Auckland: Wednesday 16 March
Christchurch: Thursday 17 March
Wellington: Saturday 19 March, Futuna Chapel
As a way to support the Friends of Futuna, and to provide another kind of event into the mix, A+W•NZ and the NZIA Auckland Branch are very happy to be hosting Lunch with Lene Tranberg on Wednesday 16 March, at 12:30pm, in the Cibo Courtyard, Parnell, Auckland.
Tickets are $80, which covers lunch, wine, great conversation, and a donation to the Friends of Futuna Charitable Trust.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite, but be quick - there are very limited spaces available. Sales close 14 March or when sold out.

A reminder of how you can support A+W•NZ
Remember you can always be involved in A+W•NZ in so many ways - from donating your time, your expertise, or your money! Here are 7 easy ways to join in;
1. If you have a great idea for an event, or want to help out with the events already planned for 2016, email us on architecturewomen@gmail.com or come along to our next meeting. (Meetings are monthly - just email us for dates.)
2. If you want to assist with ongoing research, again email us on architecturewomen@gmail.com. (One example is to contribute to the 'Wiki Lounge' project, with a long-term aim of adding to Wikipedia, or to the A+W•NZ Timeline update.)
3. Donate directly to A+W•NZ - this is easy via PayPal (click the link on the top right of the website page)
4. Become a 'Friend of' A+W•NZ' - see our website page for more information.
5. Become a Sponsor of A+W•NZ - you can contact Lindley Naismith, John Balasoglou or Megan Rule, our sponsorship team leaders.
6. Help us to help others: Attend fundraisers such as Lunch with Lene Tranberg and Buy a Venice Biennale 2016 Tote Bag!
7. Come along to the events, read the articles on the website, 'Like' us on Facebook or share our Tweets. All events are open to all people.
A+W•NZ runs purely on the goodwill of others - and what a great outcome we get, due to the generosity of so many!

Visibility: one of the core aims of A+W•NZ
A+W•NZ encourage all to enter the many high-quality awards we have available to us - our research has shown that awards and publication have a very high impact on the visibility of the often excellent work being done by A+W•NZ members.
We hope that you have entered the recent NZIA Awards, and here is a reminder that the Interior Awards 2016 are coming up.
Interior Awards 2016 - Entries close: 4 May 2016
