Architecture For Humanity Glulam Project shortlisted for Awards
The beautiful installation at the 2013 A+W•NZ: Between Silos Exhibition at Wynyard Quarter in Auckland last year has been shortlisted for several awards, including the NZ Wood Timber Design Awards, winners announced on Tuesday 18th March. Good luck to the team: Ann O'Meagher, Megan Rule, Ellen Ashenden, Bhavina Patel, Lily Wong, Aishwarya Basrur, Divya Purushotham, Johanna Bilkey and Andreea Borta-Haideciuc, with structural engineer Emily Harbinson.

A+W•NZ Website Database working well
Feedback on the Architecture+Women•NZ database has been very positive. Behind the scenes, your profile is working for you - we regularly receive emails from potential clients regarding how to select architects from the website and how to find architects in their area. We also receive feedback from some publishers on the fact that there is now an easily accessible resource from which they can draw. In 2014 we will be adding new filters to help find people - the first will be for location, to strengthen community groups and to help others find you. Keeping your details up to date (email contact, connection to your work website, location etc) may be worthwhile for you. If you ever have any trouble with this, just email us and we can help out from this end.

Articles and newsbits are constantly updated on our Facebook and Twitter accounts - a great way to keep in touch with what is going on around the world and in New Zealand. We also run a weekly profile from our website database (randomly selected from the website 'Introducing' profile) and an image from the wonderful exhibitions held in Auckland, Wellington, Chrischurch and Queenstown last year.
