Suzanne Windsor is now under hospice care at her son John's home in Hampton. Suzanne and her family are grateful for their church family and all the love and support in the coming days.

Janet Taylor is battling an infection again at GBMC. She and Lee appreciate our prayers for a quick recovery.

This Sunday we will begin our new worship schedule
that will continue for the weeks ahead. 
8:30 am Holy Communion
10:30 am Service of Confirmation
with Holy Communion
The 10:30am service will be live-streamed.
Links will be sent with the bulletin on Saturday.

Stick around after the service for popsicles and ice cream sandwiches
outside as we celebrate our confirmands.
  • Masks and social distancing are required on our church campus.
  • WE WILL SING but only with masks.
  • Pews will be marked off to insure safe distancing.
  • Registration is not required.
  • We will not pass the Peace as we used to, and communion will be distributed by bread only.

Outreach Team Meeting

CARES Pantry Needs

Our volunteers report that the pantry needs jelly, canned pasta, macaroni and boxed pasta (not spaghetti!) toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Diocesan News

The Baltimore Interfaith Coalition for Dismantling Racism hosted a vigil in Bishops Square Park, across from our diocesan center, to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers. More than 100 people were led in prayer and lamentations by faith and community leaders on Tuesday evening. Several Baltimore media outlets covered the event including WYPR, 88.1 FM, One Year After His Murder, Baltimore Faith Leaders Hold Vigil For George Floyd; WBAL, TV, 'Still a ways to go': Baltimoreans reflect on one year since George Floyd's death; and the Baltimore Sun, ‘Power requires commitment’: Demonstrators rally at Baltimore vigil a year after George Floyd’s killing.

Synod News

The 34th annual Assembly of the Delaware-Maryland Synod, ELCA will be held Friday, June 4 through Saturday, June 5, 2021. 

With this year’s assembly, we celebrate the theme, “Lord, Teach Us to Pray...” Brief faith practices will be included around that theme – and our Lutheran Youth Organization will lead us in worship with prayer at the heart of our time together. 
We will be represented by Mary Schwartz, Kari Rudgers, Pastor Don, and Pastor Stewart. Follow updates online here and on Facebook here.
