Saturday, October 19th

8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Chicago Rowing Foundation and the Chicago Park District, I would like to extend a personal invitation for you to join us at the grand opening of the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park on Saturday, October 19th.  I am humbled by the generosity and support we’ve received over the past two years that have made this very special day a reality.
Our new home, the Chicago Park District’s WMS Boathouse at Clark Park, designed by Studio Gang Architects, will be the premier rowing center in the city, with year-round training and facilities unmatched in the region. Working with our local neighborhood partners and the Chicago Park District, CRF will be able to reach thousands of young people and adults in the years to come, making WMS Boathouse at Clark Park one of the jewels along the Chicago River.
I invite you to join us for this free community event as we commemorate the grand opening of the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park, an extraordinary day of racing and celebration. The sight of crews launching from the Clark Park docks, with the boathouse in the background, will create a powerful testimony to our vibrant and revitalized Chicago River.
With much gratitude –
Lynne “Dinz” Dinzole
President, Chicago Rowing Foundation

The Eastman Egg Company was founded by Hunter Eastman Swartz, a former collegiate rower.  The Eastman Egg Company provides the people of Chicago with a delicious breakfast that fills the void between fast food and slower, sit down dining. Eastman Eggs balances craftsmanship and convenience. To achieve this goal they make fantastic breakfast sandwiches.

We need you! Whether you are a long-time supporter of CRF, a community member, or would just like to lend a helping hand, we can use your help! ROWtobefest will not be a success without a large support group of volunteers. We have positions for everyone - whether you like to help serve lunch, sell spirit wear, or greet our guests with a smile, your help is greatly appreciated. Click here to see the list of volunteer positions.
Rowing is an expensive sport due to equpiment and maintenance and travel required for competitions. While our season fees help cover some costs, such as coaches' fees and scholarships, we need support from the community to help our teams continue to be competitive. Every dollar helps us provide more financial aid to junior rowers, making rowing a more accessible sport. Donate today!
