Analyzing the Digital Talk
The TEDx event series brings people together to spark debate and social innovation. The recent TEDx MODUL University Vienna included a talk on the capabilities of the webLyzard platform to analyze public dialogue and convey a better understanding of social and political phenomena.
The latest release Mangrove Monitor further expands these capabilities - including a high-performance module for geospatial projections, support of content delivery networks, and adaptive tooltips with sparkline previews to guide and facilitate on-the-fly query refinements.

Visual Analytics
Geographic Map | Feature of the Month. The notion of a Geospatial Web has inspired our work for the better part of the last decade. The 2017-03 release takes geospatial analytics to a new level. Developed in the ASAP and PHEME projects, the rendering engine has been rebuilt to visualize very large datasets (tested with queries for more than 100 million documents). The geographic map supports geotagged documents as well as statistical data, for example business metrics or open data indicators.

Showcases
TEDx | Analyzing the Digital Talk. The TEDx Modul University event was independently hosted and organized by a young and passionate team of volunteers. The focus on societal issues of global relevance provided a good opportunity to present the webLyzard platform and introduce applications that visualize how such issues are being perceived by various stakeholders - including the US Election 2016 Web Monitor and a Web Intelligence platform for the United Nations Environment Programme.
