The Power of Conversation

Welcome to the August edition of Make a Change Australia eNewsletter.

We believe everyone has the power to make a difference.  The tools to create change are simple; conversation, getting involved and contributing.

Being a Changemaker is anyone who wants to make a change in a community.  But how do you get others involved?

Meet this month's featured Changemakers Jay and Sharon who are leaders making opportunity for others to participate and make a difference.  Shani and Keith are Breaking Tha Mould through enterprise and have you heard about the Synergize Hub?

Start a conversation with your neighbours about living with a lighter footprint, be inspired by the new online Sustainability Street Approach.

We were just blown away by the enthusiasm for Bendigo a Cycling City, it is gaining momentum. Make sure you know how to stay in touch with what is next.

The Make a Change You Tube Channel has a playlist of “Must Watch Videos for Changemakers”. Check out one of our favourites - a TED Talk by Amanda Miller on The Art of Asking - you’ll be surprised at what you can make happen when your conversations include an ask!
