Welcome to the October edition of the Make a Change eNewsletter.

October gives you inspiration, resources and new networks!  So much is happening in the community of central Victoria for changemakers.  Read on and get involved too!

Bendigo joins the national Changemakers Festival, 17 - 26 October.   Inspiration Cafe is an evening event for community focused individuals and organisations to meet, exchange ideas and celebrate the great work we are doing within our communities.

Anne Denham recently hosted in Bendigo, (along side communities in New York, London and Paris) a Climate Change picnic. She used knowldege gained from our Expand Your Impact Workshops  to build relationships to make organising a large scale community event easily achievable.  Joel  Spry, expands his impact by providing resources for farmers to make a change supported by a cheer squad.

The journey to making a change isn't always straight forward!  Let's Nut It Out is our latest initiative that brings changemakers together over lunch to share and move projects forward.

Yep it is true change can happen right at your kitchen table!  This month Outside The Square together with Bendigo A Thinking City will present  how change has happened as a result of kitchen table conversations.  Taking place on Thursday the 30th you will be taking home with you the skills and inspiration to host your own kitchen table conversation about the issues that are important to you!http://www.makeachange.org.au/latest-news/voices-for-indi-amplified-by-kitchen-tables
