The Business of Change!

Welcome to the November edition of the Make a Change eNewsletter.

Business plays an important role in making change happen in our community.  This month we focus on the how and the why of commercially driven businesses taking on the role of changemaker.

You might think this is an unusual space, for Make a Change, but as you will see this newsletter is jam packed with commercial business making positive change.

We interviewed leading Bendigo business and asked them why they invest into social entrepreneurs through training and development programs, such as 101 Social Change. Just one of the changemaker programs we presented this year in partnership with the School for Social Entrepreneurs.

Register now for training 2015 opportunities for creative entrepreneurs with Pop Up Art.  We talk with Sharon Seyd and how she builds business for creative, social and economic outcomes in regional Victoria.

Congratulations to Sara Hill, fellow of Social Change 101, of Go and Grow Gardens. Her idea has recently been backed by the ING Dreamstarter program, selected to receive $7,800 matched crowd funding.  For Sara it was business planning and building partnerships that made the impossible suddenly possible!

Make a Change Australia is moving into our third year of business for and with changemakers.  We invite you to help us to continue to grow and take our 5 minute survey.

Welcome to our Changemaker Showcase.
