TITLE: “Jingle sells, jingle sells, jingle all the way.”
We’ve already connected once this month, so I’ll try to keep this short. In the hallowed American Christmas tradition of commerce above all, it’s been suggested that I let all of you know that if you want to do some last-minute shopping, Apple Music and lots of other on-line music services make every track ever recorded by the Four Preps—including our Christmas album—“downloadable” and/or “streamable” (are these real words?!).
The only thing I know about “downloading” is that I don’t know anything about “downloading”.
Hell, I still call my music system the “hi-fi” (that’s progress—I used to call it a “Victrola”) and an album in any form is still an “LP” to me.
O.K. end of commercial.
One more thing… my book is slated for release in late Spring/early Summer. Please don’t send any more checks right now. Believe me, I’ll let you know the minute it’s available.
Most importantly—this gives me one more chance to send you my heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and positive Holiday season.
I consider my contacts with all of you one of the most satisfying and meaningful things in my life. You are the best gift I could ask for.
Here’s a big Holiday hug and my hope—as always—that you’ll take care of yourself and each other.
Until next year,
