Comcast Cares Day is Almost Here!

Volunteer Florida is excited to work with our partner Comcast to expand volunteer opportunities in Florida through the 2017 Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Comcast Cares Day brings together Comcast employees, their families, friends and our community partners to volunteer and make change happen in local communities.

Since 2001, Comcast Cares Day has mobilized more than 815,000 volunteers who have donated more than 5 million hours of service at 8,100 projects in the United States and abroad.  It has grown to become the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer event. In 2016, more than 100,000 volunteers improved more than 1000 parks, schools, beaches, senior centers and other vital community sites. Comcast has a number of great projects planned across the State of Florida.
