Every year millions of people set "New Year's resolutions" simply to start them just to stop a few weeks later.  Continually comparing yourself to others, especially though social media and magazines etc, is not the way to go.  Creating a "new you" isn't necessary, you are you, there is only one of you, and you are awesome so why change that. Anyway, I don't think any of us have the technological skills to re-build ourselves anew anyway. But, if you are looking to add in some lifestyle changes, or give yourself some new goals for the upcoming year check out some helpful tips below.
Coach Carly has a few tips for you to make sure you reach those goals or to make those changes and stick with them.

1) Start out small, make goals within your reach.  Then as you achieve them, further that goal or make a new one.
2) Have variety, don't just have gym based goals, make goals outside the gym as well.
3) Track your goals, use a calendar, or journal and track your progress and keep yourself on track.
4) Have fun! Make sure the process is enjoyable.
5) Make a goal with your friends, something you can achieve together and keep each other accountable and motivated.

Why do you drink so much juice?
- I like juice because it tastes good and I don't like eating my carbs unless they are chips.
How long have you been coaching, and how long at OC?
-I have been coaching at OC for two years.
What got you started in Crossfit?
- I got involved in CrossFit indirectly due to a bet that I couldn't do a muscle-up on my first try.  I lost that bet and now here I am.
If you had one super power what would it be?
- The super power to have any super power I wanted.
Favorite movement?
- Any movement that has the most benefit to other movements and activities outside of the gym as well, so in this case deadlift or barbell hip thrusters.
Least favorite movement?
- My least favorite movement is the sumo deadlift high pull (SDLHP). I'm pretty sure no one likes that movement and if they do, they just don't know that they don't yet.
New Year's resolution?
- My New Year's resolution is to not have one.  I just want to do things that I want to do within a reasonable amount of time.
