Dear Friends and Ministry Partners,

One year ago today, after traversing an earthquake damaged road in a tropical downpour and crossing a flooded river to reach an airport, Heather, Ellie and I left Haiti for our new ministry assignment based in Columbia, South Carolina.
While we still keep a foot in the Bible School ministry in Haiti, our attention is solidly on the global ministry before us.
__________
In this special edition, we want to share some ministry projects with you and ask for your prayerful participation in one or more of them.

The multiplication of churches and disciples of Jesus Christ begins with well equipped leadership. In fact, leadership is the key to long-term change in Haiti.
Currently, the Bible School in Cayes has to turn away eager students because we only have space to accept new students every two years. With a second story added to the classroom building, we will be able to accept new students every year, plus add a masters program in applied theology, for which there is already high demand.

The new facilities will include a solar array atop the new second story (green section) so that the Bible School will have electricity 24/7. This will also enable us to host more organizations for their conferences and team meetings, which will contribute to the financial sustainability of the Bible School.
The construction and furnishings will cost $185,600.
The solar electrical system will cost $51,400.
We already have $50,600 raised, which is enough to get started on the masonry and ironwork. The second story has to be completed before the solar system for the best security of the equipment.
