Dear Parents, In celebration of the time they have spent together this year, our Kindergarten students will travel to the zoo tomorrow with their 8th grade “big brothers and big sisters”. The 8th graders and the Kindergartners have gotten together each week to pray, read, and enjoy each other’s company.
We congratulate our 8th graders who will graduate on Tuesday evening May 28th. We must say farewell and God bless to this fine group of young men and women. We will miss our eighth grade graduates as they provided leadership in and outside of the classroom. We know they are well prepared for high school and ready to move on. God Bless all of you and thank you for helping to make this school year such a great success.
We will celebrate our final All School Mass on Tuesday, May 28th. This is a very special Mass as it is our last Mass with our current eighth graders.
On Wednesday, May 29th our 1st and 3rd graders will be going to Hale Farm and on Friday, May 31st our 4th grade students will host their annual Famous Ohioans Wax Museum. The fourth graders each chose a famous Ohioan to research in depth. They then wrote a speech as that person to tell about their life. Each fourth grader dressed as their famous Ohioan and created a display. Many Ohioans were presented; inventors, the first woman doctor in the United States, athletes, astronauts and more.
