For northerners, snow is supposed to put us into the Holiday spirit. The inevitable happened last night. It snowed. Today, it is followed by wind gusts, lowered temperatures, and the additional meteorological report of wind chill. I listen to MPR Classical radio, wrap my legs into Grandma’s quilt, and wait. I’m cozy but the Holiday spirit evades me. My phone beeps.
