Note From Our Executive Director

I recently met with Stacey and Orlando from H&R Block.  After a brief tour and a lively discussion of ECHO's vision for the future, Stacey asked: What do you need right now?   Toiletries!  I was quick to respond.  We had just served 46 families that morning.  Our toiletry shelves were once again empty.  Without hesitation, Stacey said:  We can do that!  And they did.  The next morning, a grocery cart full of deodorant, shampoo, and soap were waiting for us in our donation room.  And that my friends, is how we continue to serve our hurting neighbors.  In this season of Thanksgiving, may we all find a way to share out of our abundance.  Whether it is the purchase of a couple of turkeys via our website, or a neighborhood collection of food or volunteering some time at the Gift of Hope.  It takes all of us!  We can do that!  I just know it.

Thank you to those who give:

Gift of Hope

For many people, Thanksgiving and Christmas are joyous holidays celebrated with family and friends, but that is not true for hundreds of families in the Greater Brandon area who are walking through very difficult economic times. For this reason we are here to help and we ask that YOU join us. Here is how:

Donate a turkey
Because of donors like you, ECHO can provide our hurting neighbors with a nice holiday meal. Donate $15 today to purchase a turkey for a family in need. Head over to our website to donate.

We CANNOT do this without you! Each year Gift of  Hope serves an average of 800 families. These families are provided with everything needed to make a great Thanksgiving meal. At Christmas, not only will the families receive the items needed to make a great Christmas meal, but also have the opportunity to shop for toys for each of their children! Join us in making their dream holiday season a reality. To volunteer visit
