Note From Our Executive Director
What happenas when you combine excess clothing with clients in need of work? An innovative social enterprise called ECHO Handmade! We recently won 2nd place in the Business Plan competition, sponsored by the Children's Board! We were given $15,000 in seed money to launch our line of accessories. The materials needed to create one of a kind cross body bags, totes, and jewelry will be sourced from our excess donations. Harder to employ participants in our thriving Job for Job program will now have a hands on work opportunity. Talk about a double bottom line! Sales to begin by December.
Thank you to those who give:
We want to thank the Children's Board of Hillsborough County for selecting us as the 2nd place winners of the Business Plan Competition. We were awarded $15,000 in seed money.
