Note From Our Executive Director

I am often asked how we screen our clients.  Folks want to know if those coming in for help are truly in need.
While we do not require financial statements, I can say with confidence that yes.  Our families are truly in need.  Many of our client's are the working poor.  One unforeseen medical bill or car repair is enough to push these families into true crisis. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for the support of people just like you who make it possible for ECHO to offer true hope and help to those who need it most, right here in our own backyard.

Look what's happening...

Christmas is right around the corner...
That means our annual Gift of Hope, Part 2, is now in full swing!  This event is a true partnership: ECHO, 11 area churches, and the business community join forces to provide 800 local families with toys for their children and food for their holiday celebrations.
KNOW A FAMILY IN NEED?
Registration is open THIS WEEK between 8:30 am-12:30 pm at ECHO or the Compassion House.
