Registration requires that you have a scout.org username. It's a pretty simple process, explained on the sign up page. Once you have your scout.org username, you'll have full access to the registration system as well as many of the JOTA-JOTI activities that will be underway during the weekend.
Registration will also provide you with what you'll need to participate in JamPuz, which is a code you swap with other JOTA-JOTI participants. There's further explanation at JamPuz. Note that the required JID codes won't be issued until late in September or early October. Please also note that participation in JamPuz is optional.
The full listing of registered stations will soon be posted. We'll provide the link via the K2BSA Facebook page, Twitter account and website, see links at the bottom of this newsletter.
JOTA Station Reports
Here's the certificate that will be available to everyone who files their report after the JOTA-JOTI weekend. Please add this important aspect to your plans for Jamboree on the Air in 2015. We need your report to demonstrate the success of JOTA to those in Scouting and amateur radio.
During the event capture a few key numbers: Scouts and Girl Scouts participating, visitors participating, amateur radio operators involved, radios on the air, total number of contacts, as well as states and countries contacted.
We would also like to see your best photos and hear some stories about your event. Add this to your JOTA action plan and make the assignment to someone on your team.
The link to the reporting system will be provided via this email newsletter just before JOTA weekend.

K2BSA Jamboree Staff
The staff application and selection process has already started for the 2017 Jamboree. The K2BSA operation will use 40 staff members to guide thousands of Scouts through their first amateur radio contact and help a few hundred earn the Radio Merit Badge. You can learn all about it and apply at Jamboree Staff Volunteers.
