In January, 17 volunteers drove 1,234 miles to deliver 228 meals to hospice patients and their families!

A New Website for a New Year

We are thrilled to have launched our redesigned website last month. We hope it captures the spirit and essence of Dinners with Love: a simple kindness to lighten the load, powered by outstanding hospice agencies, restaurants, volunteers, and donors.

While the website is sporting a sleek, modern look these days, our renovations in the ether are more than cosmetic. What's new, you ask? We hope you enjoy!

P.S. Our ears and eyes are always open, so if you have a story to share about your experiences participating in the Dinners with Love program, whether as a recipient, volunteer, or restaurant, we'd love to hear from you.

A Special Gift

Last weekend, a local resident visited one of our participating restaurants. He asked if he could contribute $200 to support people who are not able to afford the bill at a nice restaurant. After the chef told him about Dinners with Love, he asked that his gift be directed to us. We are honored to be the recipient of this donor's generosity.

The Bobcat Cafe

"Think global, act local" could easily be the mantra of The Bobcat Cafe & Brewery in Bristol. Their menu features world cuisine inspired by the flora and fauna of the surrounding landscape. They reach even deeper with their local roots by supporting Dinners with Love, and hosting benefit dinners on Wednesday nights.

Pitch In

Here are a few of the ways you can help Dinners with Love this month:

1. Help us recruit more restaurants in Rutland County.
2. Become a volunteer.
3. Shop AmazonSmile. They will donate .05% of your purchase to us.
