WHAT IS #GIVINGTUESDAY?

American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP) invites you to participate in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. After the sales of Black Friday and the online shopping boom on Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to come together to show the world why it is good to give.

SUPPORT ONE OF AMHP'S INITIATIVES!

MENTAL HEALTH

Coordinating TED-talk style events that are inspired and led by youth in major cities throughout the country and launching video story-telling project on the American-Muslim narrative for refugees, youth, African-American and other minorities who may have suffered from discrimination, racism, alienation, and trauma. Join AMHP's upcoming #MuslimYouthIdentity event in Washington, DC discussing breaking stereotypes and battling prejudice by young American Muslims. I WANT TO SUPPORT AMHP'S MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM!

ENABLEDMUSLIM
Launched in 2014, EnabledMuslim is an online network for spiritual and community support for Muslims living with disabilities. EnabledMuslim was created to raise awareness about the needs of approximately 600,000 Muslims in the United States who live with disabilities. Some of the goals for 2016 include: launching a webinar series on key relevant topics; providing a forum to create, share, and publicize narratives of those who live with a disability; and implementing other initiatives to build a more inclusive community for Muslims living with disabilities. EnabledMuslim provides a resource database of relevant information as well as the ability to connect and sustain long-lasting relationships with others who have similar experiences. I WANT TO SUPPORT AMHP'S ENABLEDMUSLIM PROGRAM!

CONNECTING MUSLIMS TO COVERAGE
Through AMHP’s engagement and partnership with multiple national Muslim organizations, over 57,000 individuals have been educated about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) with a total of 2,000 recorded enrollments in health care coverage in both open enrollment cycles. We currently have community liaisons in 10 states, who are coordinating enrollment sessions in their local mosques/community centers before the third ACA cycle ends on January 31st, 2016. To learn more about AMHP's #GetCovered initiatives, click HERE. I WANT TO SUPPORT AMHP'S GETCOVERED PROGRAM!

AMHP is a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations made are tax-deductible.
