Assalaam Alaikum,
The enrollment deadline for the Health Insurance Market place was on March 31st. Due to the hard work of health care advocates across the country, 7.1 million Americans now have access to affordable health coverage. For everyone that has been a part of this effort, we sincerely thank you. Please continue to do the great work you are doing in spreading the word and helping individuals get the care they need.
We have compiled a list of the organizations that have been an important part of this outreach effort to the Muslim community and have listed them below. If you have hosted an event and do not see the name of your organization on this list, please fill out the form by Thursday, April 10th.
We are compiling a report for the White House Office of Public Engagement and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and would like to ensure that all organizations are given recognition for their work.

I would like to thank our State Liaisons and volunteers across the nation for planning enrollment events. I would also like to thank my colleagues at AMHP, Arshia Wajid and Ndaa Hassan that have been tireless in supporting this project both logistically and in networking. Etoy Ridgnal, Director of African-American Engagement and Faith Based Initiatives at Enroll America, and her colleagues have been dynamic and responsive partners. Rumana Ahmed from the White House Office of Public Engagement and Heidi Christensen, Lisa Carr and Acacia Salatti from the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnership at HHS have put in countless hours answering questions and connecting us to organizations nationally.
We have been able to do so much in such a short amount of time because we have had an extraordinary team of dedicated individuals and committed partners.
Thank you all very much and I look forward to working with you in future projects.
