AMHP is excited to have booths at both the annual ISNA Convention in Chicago, IL and the annual The Mosque Cares Convention in Tinley Park, IL. AMHP's booths will provide information about AMHP's accomplishments over the years, our areas of focus which include mental health, disability, and Connecting Americans to Health Coverage. Stop by the AMHP ISNA booth for an exciting game of healthcare Jeopardy and a chance to win a gift card. We will also provide individuals with the opportunity to sign up for free one-year AMHP membership and join a diverse network of health professionals and students across the US. AMHPxISNA Networking Event with C-Suite Executives
Healthcare is an innovative and constantly changing field. American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP) invites you to a networking event and a panel discussion on advancing your career. Hear from our dynamic panel of diverse and talented Muslim healthcare executives and entrepreneurs as they discuss their career paths, provide advice on professional development, and share their experiences and challenges in striving for and obtaining the C-suite.

Our inspiring speakers will share their career trajectories and personal insights in the hopes of motivating attendees as they pursue their dream career paths. The panel discussion will be followed by networking time for attendees to connect with the speakers, other health professionals, and students.

  • Tayyab Yunus: Founder and CEO of Intuitive IT Solutions Inc., a firm dedicated to reinventing the customer experience in healthcare.
  • Dr. Omar Lateef: Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Rush University Medical Center.
  • Albert Pless: President of AMHP and Program Manager for the Men’s Health League at the Cambridge Public Health Department in Cambridge, MA with over 20 years of experience working with the underserved population in the Greater Boston area.
