Health Law Guide for Business Celebrates Small Business Week with New Communication Tool

June 17 to 24 is recognized nationally as Small Business Week, a time for all of us to acknowledge the significant contributions small businesses make to our communities and our economy.  To celebrate, Health Law Guide for Business is proud to debut this communication tool, which is designed to help keep you informed as our state moves closer to full implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  Every two weeks, we will send updates on the latest decisions regarding implementation of the law, a calendar of events and deadlines, and a brief news summary about how the law will affect small businesses owners and their employees.

We hope you find this tool helpful. To access additional resources and learn more about Health Law Guide for Business, please visit www.healthlawguideforbusiness.org.

“Successful implementation of the health care law will depend largely on getting Californians to enroll into health coverage. Employers play an important role in providing health coverage and we want to be sure they have access to the information they need to make informed decisions that will help them keep a healthy workforce.”
