Are you interested mindfulness exercise, Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga, Moving Meditation?

"Mindfulness is a way of paying attention that originated in Eastern meditation practices".
"Paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally".
"Bringing one's complete attention to the present experience on a moment-to-moment basis".

Basically, we gently focus only on what we are doing in the moment. Just be observant, but not critical. Be aware, but not fixated.

Qigong is particularly good for being mindful because we don't have to strain our body as in Yoga, neither must we place our attention on remembering the next movement, as in Tai Chi, nor is there too much room for distraction as in Meditation.

In the coming courses I will place emphasis on how to softly focus and concentrate during all of the mindfulness based exercises facilitated.

This, in turn, will enhance the input of your practise and therefore increase the many benefits.

Indian Summer lessons in Cork begin Tuesday 4 September at the SMA, 18.00 (6.15 is ok for experienced players).

Life Yoga Centre, Bantry is hosting my beginners and improvers Qigong Workshop.
Cost: €80. All we need is a €15 (non-refundable) deposit.
However, it will be €90 at the door.
