What a week that was.

The government is warning us not to get complacent, it can happen again, soon. Maybe they can buy a few snowploughs to offset the losses in taxes due to the standstill on the (smaller) roads.
I have also learned that even though we have solar heating, it won't work if either one of water or electrics don't work.

If you think Mark is gloomy, last week the mail was all about fun in the snow. the Image was of my boys doing radical moves on a sleigh. 

And I was finally able to use my snow chains!

Some Qigong was cancelled, too.

It's postponed to this Saturday at the Nano Nagle Birthplace Centre in Ballygriffin.

It is going to be a small group of us who want to work on detoxing for the spring (it is coming, I'm told).
There will be handouts on all the relevant Qigong moves, meditation and foods you can eat to Nourish the Liver and Gallbladder.

Just so you have an idea, some of these foods are:
GALL-BLADDER: Garlic (still free at the lessons), Onions, Cabbage, Turnip, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kale, to balance blood-sugar and oestrogen, and reduce inflammation. 
LIVER: Beetroot, Carrot, Spinach, Avocado, Date, Grape, Mackerel, Mussel, Shrimp/Prawn, Trout; Beef, Liver (of any animal), Pork, Cheese, Egg; Aniseed, Fennel, Nettle, Sage, Wheatgrass, Molasses.
