Engineering & I.T. Career Fair Today

The Engineering & I.T. Career Fair is an exciting opportunity for students to connect with employers who are looking to hire interns, co-op students, and full-time employees in the Engineering and Information Technology industry.

Engineering & I.T. Career Fair
Tuesday, September 14
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
John Bardo Center

Participation in this event provides an opportunity to have face-to-face conversations with staff who recruit and hire for the various employers, so be sure to dress professionally, have enough resumes to hand out to each employer you speak with plus a few extras, and have a 30-second elevator pitch ready so you are prepared when introducing yourself. It also gives you a chance to improve your networking skills in a learning environment with Shocker Career Accelerator staff on hand to answer questions if needed.

The goal is to start and continue conversations about the various groups on campus surrounding race, gender, sexuality, social-economic status, disability, and political ideologies as we work to bring diversity-based education to campus.

COVID-19 Student Emergency Funds

Students who are experiencing severe hardship due to COVID-19 related circumstances/expenses can communicate that through an application process for consideration. Students must be enrolled for Fall 2021 and have a documented financial hardship due to COVID-19. Factors such as job loss, childcare or medical expenses, housing or food insecurity, an inability to pay for educational supplies, technology, or expenses will be given priority. Students in this category will be eligible to receive between $500 - $5,000. Only students with exceptional need and COVID-related hardships will be considered for this funding. Awarded students will be notified via their WSU email. Funds will be processed through student accounts and will transferred via direct deposit or, if the student does not have banking information on file, via paper check (which will be mailed to the student).
